Welcome to English 102!
This blog is:
1. A supplement to in-class discussions, assignments, and readings. Each week you will find additional articles, links to websites, and various sources of information corresponding to the upcoming week's curriculum. These sources are crucial to your success on unit tests and papers.
2. A requirement. Every Saturday I will post a short-answer question related to the next week's reading. Your assignment is to post your response (min. 1 paragraph) as a comment by 8:00am Monday. These responses are worth 10 points each.
3. A discussion forum. Use the comment section of this blog to ask your fellow students (or me) questions. By collaborating on this blog both you (the students) and I will compile information that will enable you to succeed in this course.
I am excited to begin our discussion and criticism of all things English-related and look forward to your responses.
